   Reesink Law has extensive experience with completing your Police Record Check and Criminal Records Check forms for the purposes of employment or volunteer work.

Police Records Check

   This service is restricted to applicants seeking employment and/or volunteer work with vulnerable individuals. This includes national and local police databases.  The possible existence of criminal convictions and outstanding charges, as well as incidents of all negative police contacts for at least the previous five years will be considered for release. 

   Information is collected and disclosed according to section 29(1) and 32 of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the Police Services Act, RSO 1990, c.P.15 (Ottawa Police)

Criminal Records Check 

   This service is intended for applicants who are involved as a volunteer, employee or in any situation where a basic criminal background check is requested (i.e. retail, warehouse or immigration).  This search is not intended for applicants who are seeking volunteer and/or employment with vulnerable persons. This search includes national databases only.  The possible existence of criminal convictions and outstanding charges will be considered for release.
